This website is for the child in all of us. Rudolph is the most
beloved Christmas characture. He was created one December
night in 1938, when Robert May's four year old daughter,
Barbara, was sitting on his lap and he was trying to make up a
story to tell her. Robert May's young wife was dying of cancer and
his daughter was upset and he wanted to ease her mind. Later
that night, Robert May say down and wrote the story out and by
Christmas day, he presented his daughter with the first book of
"Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer".
