And lo, an Angel of the Lord came upon them, and the Glory of the Lord shone
round about them, and they were sore afraid.
And the Angel said unto them; "Fear not, for behold, I bring you tidings of great
joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day, in the city of
David, a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. This shall be a sign unto you: You will
find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger". Then
suddenly there with the Angels a multitude of the Heavenly host prasing God and
saying, "Glory to God in the highest and on earth, peace, good will towards men".

It was decreed that everyone must register for the census, and because
Joseph belonged to the house and line of David, he took Mary from the town
of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea to Bethlehem, the town of David, to register
for the first census. He registered with Mary, who was pledged to be married
to him and was with child.

While in Bethlehem, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave
birth to her firtborn child, a son. She wrapped him in swaddling cloths and
placed him in a manger, as there was no room for them in the inn.

And the Lord said unto the Virgin Mary, " And He shall be called Jesus
Christ, the son of God".
